I have in my possesion my granny's first pair of baby boots, they are leather hobnail boots, and they are very tiny. They must have been very uncomfortable. My granny and granddad spent 10 years in Caergwrle, North Wales from 1916 until 1926. One of the houses that they lived in was called The Celyn.I received a photograph of the house from my cousin Tony Thorley in 2008. It is lovely, just as I imagined it would be.
