My Father Wilf trained as an Electrical Engineer at Foxfield Colliery. He also worked for the White Rose Bus company and took many trips to the Continent. He worked at the Royal Ordnance Factory, Cold Meece, Swynnerton, during the first part of the second world war as a Transport Manager.He was then sent to Kembell Training centre to become a Bevin Boy.He worked at Mossfield Colliery, Parkhall Colliery and retired from Hem Heath Colliery as an Electrical Engineer in 1976.
