Jack Perkin's memories 'I remember Uncle Arthur working for a company or grocer called Hurrell's .They smoked their own bacon. I remember being taken to see how they did it. My first shed at Rock Cottage, Dilhorne was made of Hurrell's bacon boxes'. Jack was the grandson of Edwin Thorley my great grandfather Jesse's brother.
