Elijah Gustav was known as Gus to the family.On his retirement in 1978 he emigrated, with his wife Eunice, to Perth in Australia, to be near their only child Pauline and her family. Sadly Gus did not get to enjoy his retirement living only for 16 months after arriving in Australia. He died on the 25th of June 1979. He was 66 years old.
