John William known as Jack to his family emigrated with his wife Ethel to Canada in 1971 to be closer to their sons Alan, Albert, Kenneth and David. I sent many photographs and cuttings to him via his son Ken. I was always delighted as he could identify most of them.I was really sad when he died because he was such a wonderful source of knowledge.
