He was also the Parish Clerk, his father Samuel had also been the Parish Clerk.When the family left to live in Castle Church, Stafford, William became a Gardener. The family then moved to Kings Norton and on the 1901 census, William was a Gardener, not domestic. I wonder where he worked.
