Thomas was my 3 x great grandfather. He was a Collier. On the 1871 census he is living at School Cottage, Bramshall, Staffordshire, the home of his daughter Lydia and her family. The family moved back to Dilhorne and Thomas died in 1877 aged 80 years. The cause of death was Bronchitis.
